We will be deliciously nourished by chef-prepared organic farm fresh food and gather for our immersion in a gorgeous studio with views overlooking the nearby Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological preserve with miles of hiking trails.
A space for grief to be authentically shared, and restore its natural place within a fully lived life. Through compassionate witnessing and sharing, participants explore grief not as something to move past but as a meaningful and inevitable part of the human experience.
Tears and laughter are equally shared. Time is also held for rest, reflection, connection, optional excursions, and restoration.
For those moving through loss of a loved one, transition, or emotional overwhelm in uncertain times. You may be shattered in loss, carrying something that has not yet had space to be expressed, or you may feel a quiet desire to be in community with others who understand the deeper layers of being human.
What matters is a willingness to meet your experience with openness and curiosity, in the presence of compassionate others.
You will be invited into movement, stillness, reflection, and connection with others.
Time is intentionally woven between structured experiences and spacious moments for rest, exploration and integration.
The rhythm and framework of the retreat allows grief, expression, connection, and renewal to unfold naturally over the course of the experience.
"Through their skilled facilitation they invited each of us to lovingly explore parts of ourselves so often denied by the culture and world around us. The invitations for curiosity and loving connection with those parts during our week together have forever changed me."

movement, expression, and shared experience
What if our grief,
given as a sacred offering,
is a blessing not a curse?
What if our grief,
not hidden away in corners,
becomes a kind of communion
where we shine?
What if our grief becomes a
liberation song
that returns us to our innocence?
What if our fierce hearts
could simply bear witness?

No. This retreat welcomes all forms of grief, loss, and transition—including personal, relational, collective, and even ecological grief.
You do not need a specific type of loss to attend. What matters most is your willingness to gently explore and honor your emotional experience, while being present for others doing the same.
No. This is a Full Spectrum experience.
While we create meaningful space for grief to be expressed and honored, we equally prioritize joy, connection, rest, and renewal.
You can expect: Movement, dance, and embodied practices
Gentle yoga and nervous system support
Laughter, lightness, and spacious downtime
Meaningful connection and community
Many participants share that something powerful happens when grief and joy are both welcome—creating a sense of aliveness that feels deeply restorative and even unexpected.
This is a common and important concern—and it is intentionally addressed throughout the retreat.
You will be guided in:
How to stay grounded and resourced in your own experience
How to be present with others without absorbing their emotions
Practices that support movement and release, rather than holding or carrying emotional weight
The container is designed to feel safe, supported, and energetically sustainable for everyone.
The yoga offered is gentle, accessible, and supportive, designed to help you:
Integrate emotional experiences
Calm and regulate your nervous system
Feel more connected and at ease in your body
All practices are guided by an experienced facilitator who is also a physical therapist, and modifications are always offered to meet your individual needs.
You are always encouraged to listen to your body and participate at your own pace.
That’s completely okay. This work is deeply personal, and it’s important that you feel aligned.
You’re welcome to reach out with questions or schedule a conversation to explore whether this retreat feels supportive for you at this time.
